Been wanting to head here since 2 years ago and i'm so glad to have dropped by here.
Besides being Korea version of Nara Park, near Seoul Forest there is also a not so common ground which was really hipster. Gosh this place was BRILLIANT. Its called Under Stand Avenue. My brother told to "stand under my avenue" after i sent him this photo haha. okay it's lame but my brother is funny like that.
We also travelled to this really new place near the famous Banpo Bridge along Hangang. Okay we didnt intentionally head here but we kinda got lost. So anyway even though at this time there was nothing much, the floating island was pretty nice at night. Perhaps in the near future as it develops more and more shops open, it'll be even more worth it!
It's called Some Sevit (세빛섬).
At the time we visited, there was the CNN Cafe, Cartoon Network shop and some floating activity on the water which was apparently featured in some variety shows. Apart from that, the lights were pretty fantastic so maybe if you are around Banpo Bridge, you can walk around here to perhaps let your food digest!
Also, if it helps, we kinda spent a lot of time finding the bus back to Hongdae so if you need, there is a bus just right at the entrance of the floating island that goes to Hongdae. Or a station near Hongdae. The maps (be it Kakaomap, Naver or Googlemaps) had difficulty showing us to the bus stop due to the overlaps in flyover and roads so i hope this saves some time if anyone happens to search this post up haha.
