Hiking | a tiny timid girl at Daedunsan

Decided to go hiking at Daedunsan really last minute, slightly less than 3 hours away from KAIST. There were 2 buses to take and the latter which would bring us all the way to the foot of the mountain would come once every 45 minutes (i vaguely saw this in reviews online but somehow the severity of this hit me only when we missed the bus and found ourselves waiting for another half hour).

After reaching the final stop, we had to walk a little more to the start of our hiking route. Boy have we walked a lot by the time we reached the hike. Felt like I was Logan using my hands to pull myself up. Was nervy about heights and falling down and super envious of how the others were tracking so easily…):

But hiking was definitely made more enjoyable with company.

For one, hiking has taught me some huge life lessons as well. If hiking was a module, it would look pretty much something like this:

| Module HIK3209 Hiking and Practical Living

In this module, we would learn how hiking can teach us some important life lessons. You can expect yourself to leave this module refreshed and experience for yourself how hiking can be more than a sport.

"life is like climbing a mountain...

you take one step at a time."

even if it means going slow, it doesn't matter as long as you do not stop."

you take time to stop midway and enjoy the process. dont wait till you reach the destination."

it's made better with company."
